Develop and maintain Wix Viewer, a versatile application supporting rendering on both server and client sides, prioritizing performance enhancements
Lead projects geared towards technological innovation, enhancing product features, and outperforming competitors in the realm of web development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform enhancements, including Velo, Blocks, and Apps, into company-wide initiatives
Deep dive into technical discussions, scrutinizing issues and ideas to ensure comprehensive problem-solving and consideration of all relevant use cases
Engage with fellow developers, acting as a liaison to understand their needs and perspectives, to optimize platform features that best serve Wix's developer community
Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, using a wide range of web development technologies to nurture developers' potential and curiosity
Requirements: A Frontend Infrastructure Engineer with 5+ years of experience in leading and implementing frontend infrastructure projects in large, complex environments
Expertise in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
Deep understanding of web performance optimization, browser rendering behavior, and modern frontend build tools
Experience with state management, API integration, and data handling in frontend applications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
Leadership experience in mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex frontend infrastructure issues efficiently
