Job Description
Design, work on and manage various design projects and templates that reach millions of users every day
Conduct a full design cycle from collecting inspiration to creating the visual story, UI, and full website flow
Create beautiful, modern design assets while always staying true to user needs and our product guidelines
Develop innovative branding concepts and visual languages
Conduct in-depth visual and product research
Collaborate with different teams across Wix, including product, content experts, marketing and QA, bridging the gaps between technical issues, accessibility and product limitations, to deliver the best design solutions for our templates
Ensure the templates we create are not only well-designed, but also top-notch digital products with great performance, interactions, and behaviors
Take ownership of each project from the first drop of ink to the final pixel
Requirements: A design lead with 5+ years experience in a professional design environment
Excellent design skills and experience, strong project management, and a great mentor that sets an example for other designers
High-quality branding and visual language creating skills
Proficiency in Figma, Midjourney, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design
A fast learner, whos self-motivated, highly independent, detail-oriented and able to find new solutions in technical and creative environments
Able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks at any given time
Flexible, cross-functional, and you feel at home working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficient in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
Motion and After Effects experience an advantage
